"They always referred to me as 'girlie.' Paul (Harrison) said, 'We're calling you girle because you look like a little girl. And when you are on stage you move like a nine-year-old, so full of life. You've just got incrediable energy.'Just before the tour kicked off one of the lads said he liked Jelly Babies. So whenever I stepped on stage I was squashing these little fruit sweets with every step. Some of the girls even threw the jellies up in their boxes, so you had to be careful where you trod. I had a particular problem with the Jelly Babies, because for years I'd be kicking my shoes off and going barefoot as part of the act. It doesn't half hurt if you stand on a box of sweets barefoot, as I found out pretty quickly.''
